Music Lessons
String players of all ages and skill levels* welcome!
As a cellist, with a performance degree from the University of Denver, Lamont School of music, my personal goal as your teacher is to instill the love of music first and foremost!
Teaching the skills required to fully understand the instrument is paramount to success. I impart that knowledge in every lesson as part of the learning process, yet done in a way that is fun and exciting. Each student will be given a well-balanced music lesson plan to follow in their weekly practice. Sheet music, online resources and music books are available as needed to promote different levels of learning.
Group classes offered 3 to 6 weeks prior to recitals so that those who wish to participate will have the opportunity to learn an ensemble piece or two to perform at the recital.
Comradery among like-minded musicians is always a beautiful experience!
If you stick with your instrument long enough, you will master the instrument, learning all aspects while enjoying an entertaining and energetic lesson!
Someday, take all of the acquired knowledge you have learned and join a community orchestra or ensemble group. It is all very possible!
College bound students in music? Cellist only!
